Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lower Hampden Park website, any reservation or enquiry submitted through it, and any resulting stay or event at the property located at 22 Lower Hampden Road, Westgate, Harare, Zimbabwe ("the Property"). By browsing this website, submitting a booking enquiry, or requesting an event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit an enquiry.

• "We", "us", "our" means Lower Hampden Park, the owner and operator of the Property.
• "You", "guest", "client" means the person accessing the website, making a reservation, or submitting an event enquiry.
• "Reservation" means a confirmed booking for an overnight stay at the entire Property.
• "Event enquiry" means a request to use the Property for a wedding, meeting, celebration, or other gathering, which is not a confirmed booking until accepted in writing by us.

The Property is offered exclusively as a single unit. Individual bedrooms or rooms cannot be reserved separately. When you reserve the Property, you receive exclusive use of the entire premises for the dates of your stay. No other guests will share the Property during your reservation period.

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Rates, minimum-stay requirements, cleaning fees, taxes, deposits, and any other charges are set by the platform through which a booking is confirmed and may change without notice. We do not advertise deposits, instalment plans, or security deposits unless those arrangements have been specifically agreed in writing.

Cancellation and refund terms for overnight stays are those published on the Airbnb listing at the time of booking. For confirmed event bookings, cancellation and refund terms are those agreed in writing between you and us. We recommend reviewing all cancellation terms before confirming any reservation.

Guests and event attendees must respect the Property, its neighbours, and all applicable Zimbabwean laws. We may require a guest or group to leave the Property without refund where conduct causes damage, nuisance, unlawful activity, or a breach of these Terms. You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your guests during your stay or event.

To the fullest extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website, a stay, or an event at the Property. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our liability for any proven direct loss is limited to the amount actually paid by you for the relevant reservation or event.

Overnight reservations and payments are processed by Airbnb, a third party independent of us. We are not responsible for Airbnb's services, terms, data handling, or availability. Any payment through Airbnb is subject to Airbnb's terms and your card issuer's terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version displayed on this page at the date of your booking or enquiry applies. Continuing to use the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms, a reservation, or an event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under Zimbabwean law.
